Data Storytelling, Analytics, videography and photography services
About Me
I’m Simon Itodo, a data storyteller and visual documentarian interested in how numbers and images can help explain the world around us. My work explores the intersection of economics, finance, and technology, translating complex datasets into clear narratives through charts, analysis, and visual storytelling. From exchange rates and government finances to global markets and technology companies, I focus on uncovering the patterns that shape real-world outcomes.
Alongside my analytical work, photography has become an important part of how I tell stories. What began as a curiosity with a camera has grown into a way of documenting places, moments, and human experiences that numbers alone cannot capture. Through photo essays and short visual documentaries, I explore environments, communities, and spaces that carry their own histories and perspectives.
This site brings those two worlds together. Some stories begin with datasets and charts; others begin with a camera and a moment in time. But the goal is always the same — to observe carefully, ask better questions, and present ideas in a way that helps people see things more clearly.
